Remembrance Day is a time to honour and commemorate the sacrifices of so many who have fought for our livelihood, and our freedom.

Veteran Hilliard Gardypie states:

Remembrance Day is about honouring our people who served in the war – those brave warriors who signed up, lived in trenches, and fought so that our young people could see the opportunity we have today. It is especially important for our young people to remember… to know how it was back in the day. Many of our young people thankfully do not know what war is about. Remembrance Day is an opportunity to be reminded of all that sacrifice.”
