Re: Community Clean-Up Day & Household Hazardous Waste Round-Up – Thursday, April 18, 2019

Tansi,

If you have large items, OLD APPLIANCES – FRIDGES, STOVES, WASHER, DRIERS, or a lot of garbage to be hauled please call the Band Office to register your home to get these items picked up.

You will be responsible to have these items in an easy accessibly pile.  If you have smaller garbage or need anything hauled away please leave the items at the end of your driveway for pick up.

Leadership/Staff/Volunteers will not go into your yards.  You are responsible for your own yards.

We will be in the ditches and main areas picking up garbage.

Please slow down if you see pedestrians on the roads that day!

You can also drop off any hazardous waste items at the Arena Parking lot:

Hazardous waste includes:

  • computers, monitors, tvs, cell phones
  • refridgerators
  • paint, oils, glue, aerosol sprays, glass cleaners, prescription drugs etc
  • car/truck batteries
  • propane cylinders
  • House cleaners
  • antifreeze
  • gas
  • empty jugs
  • bug/weed killer
  • paint thinner/solvents
  • fluorescent light bulbs

If your items are not picked up please call the band office and leave a message with the receptionist and she will inform one of drivers.

BOCN always receives compliments on how clean our community looks.

Thank YOU for taking pride in your home community and doing your part, we appreciate it!
