Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation are now accepting applications for Furnace/Plumbing Technician. Must possess a variety of skills encompassing most of the construction trades such as, handling repairs that require basic skills as an electrician, carpenter, plumber, mechanic, painter and roofer. However, the Furnace/Plumbing Technician must always remain aware of their limitations and request the services of a licensed professional when the worker’s lack of expertise or local ordinances requires it. Furnace/Plumbing Technician must be physically capable to go in crawl spaces and climb roofs when needed.
Requirements:
- Skill/experience in maintenance/repair procedures (e.g., mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry);
- Ability to comply with environmental, health, and safety laws/regulations, building codes, and guidelines;
- Work in all weather conditions;
- Possess own tools to fix and repair plumbing, mechanical and furnace components;
- Ability to use blueprints/schematic diagrams.
Qualifications:
- Valid Saskatchewan Drivers Licence and registered, reliable vehicle;
- Excellent communication skills; and
- Clear and current C-Pic,
