Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation, Treaty 6 – The following statement was released by the Councillor in charge of Veterans Affairs, Kevin Seesequasis, and the Councillor in charge of Education, Jackie Gamble to announce the winners of the Remembrance Day Youth Art Contest:

“It gives us great pleasure to announce and congratulate the winners of the Remembrance Day Youth Art Contest. In total, we received more than 100 entries from young members of the Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation and we thank them for taking the time to reflect on what Remembrance Day means to them.
